Principals

J.W. "Bill" Bailey, Jr., CFP, CES^®, is the President of Southern Financial Services. He is a native of Asheville, NC, and attended the University of Colorado, American College and College of Financial Planning, as well as serving in the United States Air Force. He is a certified Financial Planner, Charter Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant and Certified Exchange Specialist^®. He has been in the Estate and Tax Planning fields for 40 years. He currently sits on the Board of the national Federation of Exchange Accommodators and is Chair of the Ethics Committee. Locally, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Western Carolina Rescue Ministries.

Terry Price is a Certified Estate Planner and Certified Exchange Specialist^®. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Southern Financial Services his background has been in the Insurance, Estate, Tax and Financial Planning Industry. He has over 22 years experience in the Financial, Tax and Estate Planning field.

Ray Helsley is a Certified Estate Planner. He graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a degree in Business Administration. Prior to joining Southern Financial Services his background has been in the Insurance, Estate and Financial Planning Industry. He has over 17 years experience in the Financial and Estate Planning field.

Keith R. Henry is the Staff Attorney. He received his graduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 1985 and his law degree from Valparaiso University in 1988. Keith has been on staff with Southern Financial Services since 1993.
