Southern Financial Services is an established company in business since June of 1978 offering Estate and Financial Planning services to our clients. The company was founded in Texas and relocated to Asheville, NC in 1991. We specialize in the use of Trusts and other Estate Planning techniques to reduce expenses to your estate during your lifetime and after death. We do not handle investments or securities. We specialize in Estate, Tax, Self-Directed Real Estate IRA’s, and Financial Planning.

Southern Financial Services and its subsidiary, 1031 Exchange Services, have been named as the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the month for August 2004. This prestigious award was presented to James W. "Bill" Bailey, Jr., the president of both companies, at the monthly Chamber of Commerce board meeting July 29, 2004. We offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to our employees and our valued clients that have allowed us to serve them for the last 26 years. The home office for Southern Financial Services is located at 56 Central Avenue, Suite 201, Asheville, North Carolina 28801. This office services our clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia and Texas.
